Typical project (segment rails ) for Pegasus Radio Telescope
Project introduction
In 2010, we participated in producing the rails with a diameter of up to 42 meters ,which is used in the 65 m diameter Pegasus radio Telescope.
The rails firstly adopts the full-track welding technology in China, and the flatness of a single track reaches 0.1mm, which solved many technical problems such as track welding deformation, and this technology also made the overall flatness of a track with a diameter of 42 meters welded by 30 sections reach 0.45mm, which lays the foundation for ensuring the accuracy of the antenna shafting.
